Another UB Patch Hits the Felt at the NAPT This Friday as Newest Member Maria Ho Looks to Continue Live Tournament Success.
If you think poker is just another boys’ club, UB.com wants you to seriously think again. The online poker site today welcomes notable, accomplished, and highly respected female poker pro Maria Ho to Team UB, joining its roster that’s stacked with successful professional poker players.
At the 2010 World Series of Poker, UB.com signed former Playmate Shanna Moakler and adult entertainment star Samantha Ryan to a sponsorship deal.
Ho joins Annie Duke and Tiffany Michelle in the online poker site’s line-up of talented female pros.
This is not the first time female poker players from the adult entertainment industry have hit on UB.com.
The 27-year-old pro was born in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to Los Angeles with her family when she was four years old. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego in 2005 with a degree in Communications and a minor in Law and Society.
Ho maintains a dual citizenship and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
She will be blogging, writing articles and posting videos in both English and Mandarin Chinese at UB.com so she can reach out to online players in both languages.
